New Marketing and Sponsorship member of IIBA UK board

You may be aware that I was applying for a position on the board in the UK IIBA chapter.

This brief post is to let you know that I won!!

I put myself forward for two posts:

Marketing & Sponsorship – I won by two votes so it was close run thing

Knowledge Management – I lost by two votes which was something of a surprise as I thought my blog would generate some votes

I am pleased to have won the marketing position as it is an area in which  I am interested and will be the driver of real growth in the IIBA (UK) in the future.

Thanks for those who voted and for the candidates who were unsuccessful, I hope you will still contribute and make a real difference to the IIBA.
